Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha is a reputed institution which is a pioneer in the field of womens' education. One man crusade for womens' education in India was bestowed with the highest honor of 'Bharat Ratna'. It has several laurels to its credit.
On 5th of June 2024 birth anniversary of Baya karveji was celebrated in school. On this occasion principal ma'am Mrs.Vidya Rao and teachers worshiped the image of Baya Karveji. Mrs. Savita teacher briefed the biography of Baya Karveji and explained about her work. The program concluded with Pasaydaan sung by teachers.
On 14th June 2024 Samstha’s “128 foundation Day ” was celebrated in Kanya shala, Wai. On this occasion, chief guest Hon.Sonpataki sir, committee members Mr. Ramesh Korade sir, Mr. Sunil Shinde sir, Mrs. Anjali Kane madam, Rashmi Shevde madam ,Mrs. Swati Deshpande madam,and all units teaching and non- teaching staff were present for the program.
For the Academic year 2024-25 on 15th June a program was arranged for welcoming std 1st students . On this special day, committee members Mr. Avinash Joshi sir, Mrs. Anjali Kane ma'am, our principal Mrs. Vidya Rao Ma’am and all teaching -nonteaching staff were present for welcoming students.
n 22nd June 2024 election held at school for electing school captain, vice captains , sports captain,head girls , and head boys of four houses.
21st June 2024 'International Yoga Day' was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Vision English Medium School, Y. 665 students of all classes in the school participated in this. Similarly, the school committee member of Maharishi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanstha Y. Joshi Sir, Mrs. Swati Deshpande, Hon. Principal Ms. Vidya Rao, all teachers and non-teaching staff participated in this. The program was concluded with all asanas, prayers and pranayama as per the guide book given by the government.
